The new favourite sport for all generations
You've never heard of pickleball? Here we go!
Pickleball is a dynamic mix of tennis, badminton and table tennis and is played on a rectangular court with a net. Two or four players use special paddles and a perforated plastic ball. The serve is made underhand and diagonally into the opponent's court, with the ball having to bounce once on each side before volleys are allowed. A special feature is the ‘kitchen’, the no-volley zone directly at the net, where no volleys are allowed. Points are only scored on your own serve, and the game is usually played to 11 points with a minimum lead of two points.
